Volkswagen (VW) is German automobile company founded in 1937, announced Volkswagen Partnership With Microsoft. Company is well known for its innovative, luxurious and premium cars around the world. In its innovation company is moving further to make smart car with many automotive features.

Volkswagen announced “Volkswagen Partnership With Microsoft” on 28th September, to to develop a “comprehensive industrial automotive cloud” called Volkswagen Automotive Cloud. Every day more and more technology inbuilt cars are being launched. There is big challenge to connect all kind of technology with communication. So Automakers needed a way to manage all data through some cloud connective services.

We all know that future of automobile industry is autonomous vehicles ((AVs), and automobile companies are trying to add one or another feature in their cars models every day, so soon car will be like small home. And each innovator is thinking to make more futuristic.

If we talk about online technology or even mobile apps, recent study report shown that usage of mobile apps is not increase that much. So it is about to reach its saturation point. But AV (autonomous vehicles) can reverse this downfall.

Together, Volkswagen Partnership With Microsoft will develop the technological basis for a comprehensive industrial automotive cloud. In the future, all in-car services for vehicles of the core Volkswagen brand as well as the Group-wide cloud-based platform (also known as One Digital Platform, ODP) will be built on Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform and services as well as Azure IoT Edge. This will dramatically streamline the technical landscape.
